Eyes on Tounsia : interviewed by Una Città
Weeks ago, I was pleased by the curious visit and work of Francesca Barca, an Italian journalist eager to learn about the flourishing, ongoing revolution stirring Tunisian society in the aftermath of the autocracy collapse.
Our guest was particularly interested in the evolution of women condition from the unprecedented emancipation decades ago, to the old regime's propaganda, to the hard won freedom nowadays.
The interview rewards Tounsia 4Ever's vibrant community which dared to address taboos regarding individual and collective freedoms, long before the fall of dictatorship. I can't be prouder of everyone believing in this open space!
Here is the transcript translated to French following the release of the last edition of Una Città where you can check the original interview.
